The private Sejda alternative
Same PDF jobs — without the hourly limit or the 50 MB cap.
Sejda’s free web plan resets after 3 tasks an hour and caps files at 50 MB and 200 pages. DiemDesk does the same jobs in your browser with no hourly limit, up to 100 MB, and any page count — and nothing is uploaded.
No 3-an-hour limit
Use any tool as many times as you like — DiemDesk has no hourly task reset to wait out.
No 50 MB / 200-page ceiling
In-browser tools handle files up to 100 MB and PDFs of any length — we’ve rotated a 1 GB, 4,000-page PDF in under a minute.
Nothing gets uploaded
DiemDesk’s web tools run on your device, in any browser, with no install. Sejda’s online tools upload your file to their servers.

Sejda figures are from their published plans as of July 2026 and may change — verify at the source. See the full comparison for more names.
Fair disclosure: DiemDesk is in pre-launch. Annotate, Redact and OCR are marked coming soon, and the Pro plan isn’t on sale yet — so everything is free right now. We’d rather show the full roadmap than hide it.
Switching from Sejda — your questions
Is DiemDesk better than Sejda’s free plan?
For everyday use, it lifts the limits people hit most on Sejda: there’s no 3-tasks-per-hour reset, no 50 MB size cap and no 200-page limit on the in-browser tools. Everything is free during launch.
Does DiemDesk work locally like Sejda Desktop?
Sejda sells a paid desktop app that runs offline. DiemDesk’s in-browser tools run on your device too — no upload, nothing to install — but the site itself still needs a connection to open, so it isn’t an offline substitute today. A few tools (Office conversions, OCR) genuinely need a server and are labelled in the catalog.
Can DiemDesk handle large or long PDFs?
Yes. In-browser tools handle files up to 100 MB and PDFs of any page count — well past Sejda’s free 50 MB / 200-page cap — because the work happens on your own device instead of an upload server.
